Top Soil
Looking for pulverized top soil? Quality top soil should be nutrient and mineral rich to promote plant growth in your lawn or garden. We stock a compost-enriched multiuse blend of top soil that is ideal for raised beds, fill, gardening soil, foundation treatment, or treating a bumpy or uneven lawn. Pulverizing the top soil ensures dirt clods are kept at a minimum as opposed to standard top soil. Top soil is available for pickup or delivery in yard and half yard quantities.
Mulch
We are also your source for high-grade dyed mulch that is color-stable and naturally dyed using oxide pigments. Mulch is an excellent weed-suppressant while also controlling moisture within the soil beneath by controlling absorption and evaporation rates. Pulverized top soil and dark brown mulch are available in yard or half yard quantities for pickup and delivery.
Cut Stone Materials
We stock Indiana Limestone column caps, wall caps, and sills to compliment any project. We are also your source for custom-cut stone in limestone, sandstone, or bluestone varieties that can be used for hearths, mantles, caps, and pool coping. Flagstone and Paver Joint Products
We offer Alliance Gator Dust polymeric stone dust and Alliance Gator Maxx polymeric sand in two color varieties for use on your next project. Gator Dust is a durable and low-maintenance alternative to mortar for use on your natural stone patio. For natural stone or concrete pavers, we stock Gator Maxx polymeric sand as a versatile and low-maintenance joint product.
Landscape and Paver Edging
House of Rocks has been a proud Kansas City distributor for commercial-grade Oly-Ola landscape and paver edging products for over 20 years. These polymer edging products are available in several different varieties both for landscape and paver edging purposes. The 100% recycled polymer landscape edging allows for easy installation with 15-20’ sections that can be easily curved or cut on-site to the desired profile for a seamless look. Each piece of polymer edging comes with stakes and a connector. In-stock varieties are listed below.

Edge King: The original professional landscape edging introduced in 1978 features a round top and four horizontal grooves that eliminate frost heaving problems. Available in 20’ sections.
Black Jack: Single V-Lip design is slightly smaller and the most economical option for landscape edging without compromising quality. Available in 20’ sections.
Bric-Edg II: This is an L-Shaped paver edging to outline flagstone or paver patios. Flagstone or pavers can be installed on either the inside or the outside of the paver edging. Available in 15’ sections.

DuraEdge Steel Edging
DuraEdge metal edging is forged with American-made steel that allows for a permanent and heavy-duty landscape edging option. Made of thick 12-gauge steel, this landscape edging is colored dark green using an electrostatically applied powder coat paint that will withstand wear and tear. Steel landscape edging is an excellent crack-proof and crush-proof option for use in any landscape project. DuraEdge is also a labor-saving alternative to wooden concrete forms since it does not require removal. Dimensions are 4” Height x 10’ Lengths per piece and comes with 4 stakes.
